As a Technical Communicator, I worked not only for TCS internal projects but also for esteemed clients such as Microsoft and Morgan Stanley.I used TCS’s review plug in to help in improving productivity and reducing the turn around time for document review tasks like calculating Document Quality Index (DQI) and generating the defect log and review report.For Microsoft, I had led the team of Technical communicators to provide quality assurance verification of editorial and production work for HR Web (company’s Intranet). I have managed to achieve 99% of Service Level Agreement for this project.Responsibilities:• Reviewing editorial HRWeb work items using Product Studio.• Reviewing and correcting, if necessary, each HRWeb pages to conform to the HRWeb Style Guide.• Providing quality assurance verification of editorial and production work performed by the team for each Product Studio request.• Editing the work of team members.• Ensuring timely completion and delivery of content into Microsoft’s defect management system.• Received Service level agreement of 99% for producing the quality documentation and Web site content.For Morgan Stanley, I had worked on documentation of Electronic Trade Confirmation (ETC) project. I reviewed and edited documents to improve the quality of the documentation, and created templates for better structuring, organization, and consistency of the technical content.Responsibilities:• Writing and reviewing workflow document, user guides, process related documentation, induction manuals, design documents, specification documents.• Creating style guide and templates for better structuring, organization, and consistency of the technical content.• Created training guides, and presentations. • Created technical glossary and acronym list.• Preparing presentations and assisting in conducting training classes. • Improving documentation processes so as to optimize the time and effort spent.
Apart from graphic design, product research, I also have extensive experience in anchoring television shows, writing and editing scripts for the television shows and news, participating in organizing press conference interviewing leading personalities related to films, politics, medicine, social service etc.
This report provides examples of such design elements that demonstrate how the communicating power of a variety of different projects can be enhanced by simply rearranging the design elements in more effective ways. This report also discusses basic design principles that are the underlying factors in every successfully printed or electronic document we see today, such as magazines, newspapers, television and Web sites.
I wrote this document to provide a common set of guidelines for naming eRoom files and folders. This document also features the Quick reference at the end that gives a quick snapshot of the naming convention standards that should be employed to develop coherent and consistent approaches for naming electronic documents.

This is the style guide I prepared for my client. The style guide is presented as a table with a classification of the different type of documentation issues, illustrated with examples, most of which have featured in the reports. Most of the examples have been presented in a before-after (or not preferred-preferred) manner.
