Assigned to developed a Billing System using MS Visual Basic 6 with
MS Access Database.
Database has been partially designed to show required fields, provide a starting point for the designer and information that will be stored. This is to be a client, payment, and appointment tracking database for small medical practice with a single physician. Due to the nature of the information being stored, security must be implemented. Access must be permitted by username, with 2 users being administrators for user management. Users will have access to 3 areas, patient info, appointment info, accounting. If there are issues with this, please let me know. We can isolate or simplify if necessary. Also, the client will be using Sharepoint 3.0 to access and view appointments in calendar format. Currently they are using 2.0 and all appointments are only stored in Sharepoint. We will be importing the current appointments from Sharepoint into this Access and will be using 3.0 to display these appointments from the db directly. If possible, we would like to use Active Directory authentication for the database also. This is flexible based on difficulty. Information to be stored: Patient Information (Name, SSN, Address, phone, Zip) Appointments (Date, time, duration, reason, employee who made appt, last updated) Payments (Date made, amount, method, rcvd by) Reports: Appointments by date, date range, or patient Payments by date, week, month, year (sort by method option) Patient Statement (Select Patient to show charges & payments by date with balance)

Platform:Assigned to developed standalone or a client/server SALES/INVENTORY/AR application and provide information on programs, modules, timetables, activities, staffing, project achievements and milestone, users training and project cost assessment. Evaluates and reevaluates programming languages to better suits the projects in relation to clients budget cost and with its existing hardware setup. The system provides a hierarchical level of security (up to row level) depending on the grants/privileges given to users for specific projects. It resides in an MS Access 2000 Database on trusted mode on Windows XP. Client application is being developed using Visual Basic 6.

WARNING: DO NOT HIRE ROY - HE WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEYHe made a lot of empty promises in the beginning that caused me to lose $1500.First, He didn't have a clue how to do the project but accepted it anyways. After receiving a very detailed doc about his tasks he told us he could do it. Every few hours he would have questions about the project. He had a very difficult time understanding what he needed to do even though we gave him an example of another program that did exactly what we needed. We just asked him to copy it. The project was simple and other programmers said they would do it for $100-250 because its so simple. But that's fine with me and I don't mind explaining it again and again. But then he was constantly messaging my Web Programmer asking questions that we explained to him again and again and he just couldn't understand it. We couldn't believe how stupid he was. My Web Programmer pretty much had to give him step-by-step Programming lessons and hes not even a Visual Basics programmer!Eventually he would send us the app and we couldn't even install it. Errors would pop up. Eventually he fixed it.. but then the app was NOTHING like what we needed.Without getting to much into details, we needed an app that would transfer data from the persons computer to our website. Currently people needed to upload the data to the website manually, but many of them are computer illiterate and so we wanted an app that would do it for them automatically. Basically he made an app that was exactly like the manual upload form on the website except it was on the desktop app... why the hell would we want that?Plus there was tons of other errors and the app took over 5 minutes to load. My visitors will delete the app and never return to my site if they had to wait 5 minutes to load the thing. I still offered to pay him 300 something dollars and just leave the project and told him I wouldn't write a bad review. The next day the price jumped to $1500 and he kept begging me to give him 5 stars. I kept telling him no and every time we spoke he would beg again. The sad thing is he still doesn't understand why I filed a dispute and am giving him a bad review. The guy is a complete moron.
