I have strong Web Designer skills as I have been doing web designer for about 6 yrs, where I have been working as a freelancer since June 2003. I have worked in various I.T. functions for almost 17 yrs.   
 
As you will see from my (shortened) CV, attached, I have been doing assorted web design and games online work since November 2000, much of it overseas in Spain, Portugal and Brazil. The work mostly involved Flash and Action Script development, PHP and building large My-SQL databases, with considerable HTML, Java Script, XML, DHTML, AJAX, CSS, and design enhancement, and server maintenance as required.  I was also responsible for documentation, testing and occasional client support.

Making the Most of Open Source Software, Joomla, Mambo, etc...

Open source software is always free and open to new development providing the opportunity for anyone that is interested to work on it, at any time. 

I use open source solutions such as PHP, MySQL Joomla!, osCommerce, Zen Cart, phpCollab, Simple Machines Forum, Gallery2, WordPress and others, to provide my clients with feature rich websites quickly and without great expense. The ongoing development of open source software guarantees our clients' websites can be updated with minimal future costs.

I am a good team worker, working in a team for DM7 between 2002 and 2003 when I participated in meetings, integrating and co-ordinating with other team members, discussing & fulfilling requirements with the web development team as well as working on a one to one basis with the users.
