Dear Mr. Allen.

As you are well aware I spent the whole night, got zero sleep, writing a eulogy for my best friend and a good portion of today grieving his loss. I am aware that I have had yet another bad week & that the timing of these things in my life have slowed down NET but cut me a break will ya?

I am not dodging my responsibilities to your project and thought you were convinced of my commitment to you & the NET Project. If you feel as though you need a “Neil Supplement” and can’t wait a couple of days for me to bury a close friend, who meant a lot to me and my daughter then why don’t you just go find yourself a “Neil Replacement” instead.

In short, I AM NOT in agreement with these responses. In fact, I think this email is a bit cruel and unwarranted. I respect you Robert, in fact, I thought we were starting to form a pretty good friendship and your project IS important to me. I may not have been available as often as you may have liked but you can’t dispute the fact that I HAVE delivered top quality professional work and I have made every effort to accommodate your many requests. But maybe the only solution is NO demands on my time by NET.

It’s your call. It always has been. I understand your frustrations and eagerness to get the NET project rolling but I am truly hurt by your insensitivity to my situation and your comments in this E-mail seem to me a bit selfish and unreasonable.

Some last points to consider:

Jake has two weeks to finish his end of he deal and I don’t care if one of my legs drops off I am sure I can finish everything on your list that I have committed to by the time his end is ready.

And you may very well succeed in finding a supplement for me but you will NEVER replace me.

If you can’t wait a couple more days for this very sad and troubling time in my life to pan its way out and feel compelled to hire another Joomla! CMS / Graphic Designer / Web Planner and developer to work on the site expecting me to again find some kind of “synergy” then please understand, under no uncertain terms, I am off this project for good.
