Some adventures over the last ten years, which don't ordinarily fit on a resume:

Study Abroad in college:

     Lived in London, England, and Seville, Spain, for one year.


Costa Rica Rainforest Outward Bound School: 

     White water rafting, slippery slopes up jungle hills, encounters with scorpions and tarantulas, navigating through pitch black caves without a flashlight, and sweat lodges on the beach - all life-changing experiences.


Crew of the Schooner Anne: 

     Shortly after moving to New York City, I was recruited to work on a sailboat, as a crew member and assistant documentary filmmaker.  Within 2 hours of setting sail, we were pummeled by winter storms, and spent 10 days battling our way to Bermuda.  We then spent the next 3.5 months cruising the islands of the Caribbean, and enjoying the spectacular Carnival in Trinidad.  The captain of the boat is currently on the longest non-stop sailing voyage in history:  http://www.1000days.net


Yellow Cab driver in NYC: 

     Lived the life of a cabbie for 2.5 years in New York, during which time I first began focused work as both a writer and a web designer.  The site is here:

Traveling Teacher: 

     Spent three years traveling and living in Europe, working as an English teacher on a cruise ship of all places, in Barcelona, Spain, and doing many other odd jobs in many other places.


Just Married: 
     
     Embarked on the most recent adventure in March, as I married my beautiful dream woman.  We're in her hometown in England at the moment, preparing to move back to the States.

Lifelong percussionist:  I've played the drum set and various hand drums for many years, and spent several years in New York as a gigging musician in several different bands.
