Description
Adobe AIR
1 yrs
4.0
2009
Ported all my web apps to the Adobe AIR platform without any kind of trouble (I love javascript!).
I really think that this is a nice platform and it can give you and your users a lot of power in what interaction respects.
So, if you want to do an AIR App or do some modification on an existing one, just send me a message!
Bots
2 yrs
4.0
2009
I've created a lot of bots (in menu-driven or language-driven format), mainly I use them as an interface to a site that I've created before.
Right now, I'm testing a new service that does all the work of letting your bot 24/7 with a simple API, so development is going really quick!.
If you want to add an extra functionality to your site that the users of your site (including you!) will love, this is one of them.
Just send me a message if you want to get more info.
CodeIgniter
1 yrs
4.0
2009
I created a lot of apps in CodeIgniter, currently I'm creating a plugin for me that does all the setup that I need to create some websites (for example an user-driven community can be done only giving some names and database tables).
Every task that I've done with CodeIgniter was done in a clean way, and obviously, executed successfully.
I prefer to develop CodeIgniter projects from scratch, but if you have one and want to do some modification or something, just yell me and I'll be there.
Thanks
ColdFusion
2 yrs
4.0
2009
I developed applications in PHP for many years, and I thinked that I must try another language, so I've choosen Coldfusion, and I've discovered that I love to work on this language.
My skills on this area are ranging from plain Coldfusion, Webservices, Verity Search Engine, Fusebox Framework, Coldfusion components, for mentioning some of them.
Again as with many of the jobs that I've made as a freelance worker, I can't show them in my own portfolio, but if you need to be sure that I capable of doing your job, we can talk about it.
Coldfusion Fusebox Framework
1 yrs
4.0
2008
I started learning Coldfusion and when 2 months passed, I learned Fusebox Framework, it's really nice to work with it.
I've no problems to edit Coldfusion Fusebox Framework projects, so if you've one, just yell me and I'll be there to rescue you!
CSS
2 yrs
4.0
2009
I've to play with CSS everyday, as I'm a developer I had to work several times using CSS, so I've to learn it.
At this moment I'm looking forward to master this language in order to be a more productive person.
If you have some CSS fixes to make, don't hesitate to contact me!
Database skills
5 yrs
4.0
2009
I worked using many kind of databases, for mentioning some I can tell you that I worked many years with MySQL and MS-SQL, SQLite for some projects and used Postgree and others some times.
When I've to create the database's structure, I work with the idea of doing
Normalized Databases
, so they'll be logic and more effective.
Firefox Extensions Developer
1 yrs
4.0
2009
I've worked on a Firefox Extension and learned all the facts of XUL, the language that Mozilla Firefox uses to raise the GUIs. This combination of XUL+Javascript+Ajax+PHP created an stunning Mozilla Firefox Extension (XPI) that it was used as an interface to an already created site.
Also, I've edited downloaded XPI without any problems.
If you want to have a Mozilla Firefox Add-On, talk with me.
Thanks
JavaScript/Jquery/AJAX
1 yrs
4.0
2009
I started using Javascript about a year ago, but that doesn't make me feel any kind of fear if you need to do something with this tech.
I worked using plain javascript but I prefer to develop using JQuery, have done big user interactions apps, with the use of Ajax and effects, and I take a lot of care while coding, many of my scripts for example, reuse the functions, so my javascript coding is quick, clean, effective and the most important thing: the user experience will be really good.
Also, because I develop using PHP and Coldfusion, my scripts works using the same logic so you won't have to hire a separate server-side coder to do that kind of tasks.
Joomla
1 yrs
4.0
2009
We worked in a project that we've to make a lot of plugins, components and modules.
I also buy a lot of books of joomla so I've a place to search when I need to do some kind of Joomla task.
So, if you've problems with your Joomla or want to enhance it with a over-the-edge extension, be sure to message me.
PHP
5 yrs
5.0
2009
Solutions
I developed applications of many flavours using PHP, going from very simple CMS to advanced applications that make use of user levels, web services, SMS platforms, own encryption systems, and many more.
My Skills
I'm currently doing OOP and I prefer to develop in PHP5, but I worked a long time with PHP4 doing procedural scripting, so there won't be any kind of problems if you want to develop something on this scenario.
Also, I worked under Linux and Windows, using MySQL, SQLite, MSSQL and other kind of databases, using Apache, IIS and others.
And I don't have to forget that I worked by editing scripts that were already done, to quick-add features or change the behavior of the application.
At this moment, I'm currently trying to explode my best potential using the CodeIgniter Framework, but I've also developed my own libraries for doing common tasks.
My Portfolio
Many of the jobs that I've made were made as freelance work, so I don't have a big portfolio to show (clients don't allow me to show the work that I've developed) but be sure that I've worked my way to get where I am right now.
PHPExcel
1 yrs
4.0
2009
I needed to gather the data from a survey and write it to an XLS, using different Sheets page, renaming them, adding style (bold, color) and conditional formatting against others. The result: A XLS file generated on-the-fly using data served by a MySQL database.
Working with this library was a really good task, and also helped me to develop some short scripts that I can use in the future, probably in your project!
So, as I always say: Need to do some Excel Spreadsheets work there? No problems, Franco will be to the rescue!.
WordPress
1 yrs
4.0
2009
I've created plugins from scratch, also, developed using others plugins (to make modifications or add functionality).
In some of this plugins, I had to do remote access url (the PHP acting as a user), so it had to login, check some values, write another ones, mainly automatization, and it worked perfectly.
My last project was to create a feed generator using some criteria, and export them as XML or jSON format, using an API of my own, so the Javascript part was calling a webservice in jSON format, and the Adobe Flash was calling a XML webservice.
Remember, if you want to something with your WP Plugins, just send me a message and I'll be there for you.
XUL
1 yrs
4.0
2009
I worked on a project using XUL, creating a Firefox Extension.
When I finished that job, I went to take a deeper look to the XUL language and I found out that it can work standalone!.
I'm a linux user sometimes, so I went to there and start to code my own desktop apps and create a lot of template UIs to start from.
