How did I learn WordPress?
Even though I started designing websites back in 1998, most of it are for personal purposes and didn't take usability, cross-browser compatibility and standards into consideration.
Two years ago, I decided to start an online store. I want an online store that includes search function. It was then that I discovered the power of WordPress. It's more than just a blogging platform; it is exactly what I need.
Since then, I decided to focus on studying how to tweak WordPress for a variety of purpose. All the WordPress tweaks that I learned and continue to learn are being recorded in my blog:

I no longer offer static HTML website development. All the websites that I developed are in WordPress CMS, enabling the client to edit the website on their own and I can also customize it to suit different purposes other than blogging. Moreover, WordPress' default setup is already search engine friendly, and yet I can further modify its codes and scripts to make it even more optimized.
