To use my writing skills, both creative and technical, to their highest advantage. I have a great deal of experience in legal research and writing which allows me to take many different types of technical and scientific data and make them understandable to the average person. This was a necessity for me as I also tried numerous cases before juries in both Florida and Georgia.Presently, I write short fiction and poetry with an occasional book review for Harper Collins Publishing. I run a poetry challenge group that I began thirty four weeks ago. I regularly provide comments and feedback on social forums with respect to the work of others and receive the same. I will begin submitting my creative work for publication in the near future. I would ultimately like to support my family with my writing, both technical and creative.
I have always been a writer; it is who I am. I have been writing my entire life, whether it was poetry, which I began writing as a teenager, or legal briefs. I have a lifetime of experience. I am currently engaged almost exclusively in creative writing: fiction and poetry. However, I do write creative non-fiction, as well as occasional articles on various subjects, the most recent being my teenage children. Most of my current writing can be found at http://serendipitous.gather.com, although I have written short informative articles for http://Helium.com as well. My pen name on Helium is my initials TES. The Gather address will take you directly to my "namespace" containing my most recent writing, images and comments. I currently "own", moderate, and judge a poetry group at http://poetryplease.gather.com. I have recently begun doing book reviews for Collins Non-Fiction. The link to my first is listed here for your reference. http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977083037. I have also been asked to review another non-fiction book for Collins; two fiction books for StoneGarden Press and a DVD for Gather.com's movie division.
