RESPONSIBILITY / ACHEIVEMENTS: 1) COSTING, BUDGETING & MIS: v Designed a Detailed Cost Accounting system to ascertain the ITES project wise cost. v Prepared financial projections on monthly, weekly basis & monitoring its execution. v Identification of ways and means to for cost reduction and suggestions made to the management. v Preparation of weekly & monthly MIS report for the appraisal of CEO. v Analysis of customer – wise profitability. v Involved in the preparation of revenue budget & analysis of variances on a monthly basis indicating reasons attributable for variance for India and South East Asia. 2) FINANCE & ACCOUNTS v Interaction with banks and fund managers for forex ,investments v Final review of all payment and receipt vouchers ensuring the compliance of accounting and quality standards before signing of checks. v Handled sales tax & excise matters, IT & Tax Audit for India, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. v Single handedly maintained the financial and accounting functions of Indian and Overseas operations and BPO operations of US office in India for 3 months. v Finalisation of A/Cs for US-Consolidation as per US GAAP, and Overseas as per the existing countries laws. 3) BPO SERVICES v Auditing the Indexing all receipts/vouchers as per the classifications and processing them for A/R, A/P requirements. v Auditing the A/R, A/P entries for the accuracy and authencity based on the available supporting records. v Acquired expert level of knowledge in various accounting software Tally (India), Great Plains, Quick books, Microsoft Accounting office (US and UK) and MYOB (Australia) |
