ROLE:
Reporting to COO
Lead a team of 8 members.
Play an active role in various categories of software development like Product Development, Customized Software Development, Product Maintenance and Support, etc.
Prepare Project estimation.
Project initiation and planning: This includes various aspects like selection of team members, task allocation, creating project portfolios, software/hardware requisitions, resources acquisition and allocation, requirement analysis, risk management, identification project specific training needs, creation of development environment, etc.
Design: This includes identification of design mechanisms, documentation of system architecture, prototype creation, identification of key abstractions & drawing entity relationships, design reviews, etc.
Creation/up gradation of coding standards: Ensure that all team members are following the coding standards strictly.
Play an active role in testing: This would include creation of test plans for unit, integration and system tests, planning for performance tests, load test, memory usage, etc.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that the application is bug free, user friendly and fulfills the client's/users requirements.
Maintenance and Support: Assist or participate in the delivery and testing of the system in the production environment (on-site) or provide offshore support to on-site teams. Analyze problems
And ensure that bugs located after delivery throughout the life of the program are fixed at the earliest.
Managing and developing subordinates and monitoring operational performance of the team.
