Designing and implementing core aspects of the eWebUniversity’s web based learning management system (LMS), SmartLink. Smartlink isa provider of cutting edge enterprise eLearning system for corporate and educational Institutions. Worked from remote via high-speed broadband Connection. (www.ewebuniversity.com)
§       Smartlink provides complete user administration, content development, class management, an integrated catalog manager for secure self-registration and online payment processing.
§       Virtual Training Lab via TrueLab, online meetings, video and voice conferencing for today’s extended enterprise, discussion groups for classes, standard and custom reporting.
§       It interfaces with communicators such as interwise (iMeeting and iClass Live) and Webex for meetings. Content Sharing with other LMS systems is supported via SCORM-Compliance. §       Designed and developed the complete billing system to bill clients that have partnered with Smartlink. The web-based Billing system is based on role based license fee and student subscriptions.
Lead analyst in this EDI firm’s EDIKIT product. Edikit is an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application system developed for the environment of distributed applications and represents a new approach in allowing commercial software developers to easily integrate EDI technology directly into their business applications.Â
Responsibilities include:
ï§ Development and documentation of Functional Specifications and Design Specifications. ï§ Implementation and development of key product modules in Borland Delphi, C++ along with 3rd party (RogueWave and SmartHeap) libraries. EDI definitions are stored in MS SQL Server (Back Office), Non Stop SQL (Tandem) and Paradox (PC) databases. Cold Fusion is used for Web Development. ï§ Lead role in the cogent integration of various project modules using Microsoft’s COM technology. ï§ Direct the QA team in creating and executing unit test plans along with system testing such as performance, functionality and usability.ï§ Testing and Debugging.ï§ Involved in each stage of the project life cycle and technical support during post implementation period. ï§ Continued to effectively discharge this lead role while working off-site (using internet and other telecommuting technologies) from Graz, Austria between January 1999 and July 1999.
Software Analyst                      Corporate Software and Technology, Arlington, VA  Provided pre- and post- sales software development support to a variety of clients.
For Stratus Computers – Member of the team designing and developing High Availability Fault Tolerant solution for MS SQL Server 6.5 and MS Exchange server 5.0 that provided continuous uptime for business critical computing on the Stratus RADIO cluster High Availability platform.For Stream International, developed Stream’s initiative into E-Commerce. Built a Windows based Content Manager application providing user interface (VC++) and online access to the back-end MS SQL Server database using ATL, VB script and ASP. For US Patent Trademark Office, worked with Microsoft Consulting Services to migrate the client application for search and retrieval of patent images, from SCO UNIX to Windows NT 4.0. For Microsoft, participated in the developing the web site for Microsoft Select CD system that managed subscription. This site was developed using MTS, Microsoft IIS, ASP, VB script and SQL Server 6.5
