I have an in-depth knowledge in operating systems (CentOS, Fedora, RHEL etc), and software, kernel installation and upgrade in Linux . I have also indepth knowledge in Virtuozzo and Openvps. 

During my tenure in webhosting business I have been working on server with different control panels, like Cpanel, Plesk, Directadmin etc.  have excellent knowledge about various issues and their fixes related to different control panels. 

I have been fixing level 3 issues during my tenure with the webhosting company. Currently also I am working on level II -III issue as a freelancer. 

I have basic knowledge in php and perl programming.
 

Projects Handled: 

1.Open VPN 

Open VPN installation and customization. Handled over 5 clients with different needs. Private certification and Key generation.Client and Server configuration. Routing the client through the server.

2.Virtuozzo and Open VPS 

Open VPS installation and kernel patching. Installing the basic packages needed for the administration like vzctl,vzquota,vzpkg etc. Installing different OS Templates. Creating and managing the nodes and basic node/package configurations for different users in the main VPS. Security audits and other server management tools installations. Resource sharing tweaks and load balancing tweaks. 

3. HyperVM 

Installation and configuration of HyperVM. Troubleshooting various issues with it. 

4. FFMpeg 

Installation and configuration of FFmpeg including all the required applications for streaming videos through browser. 

5. Ruby On Rails 

Installation, Integration and deployment of Ruby on Rails.

6. Server Optimization 

Optimizing the various services including apache, mysql, dns, ftp and mail. 

7. Server Hardening 

Hardening the security of the server, including Install and configure Firewall, Install and configure rootkit detection software, harden /tmp /var/tmp directories, Install Brute Force Detection software, Secure root login, Secure named configuration, Compile PHP to the Latest Stable Version, PHP Hardening, Remove insecure packages and unnecessary softwares, Upgrade Installed Softwares to the latest version, Install Mod_security apache module with latest custom rules etc.
