e-Emphasys Technologies specializes in integration and implementing Baan ERP solutions. e-Emphasys Technologies also develops applications and enterprise specific customizations in Baan ERP.  Being Part of the Production Support team for the ERP implementation for the client Solectron, my responsibilities were to handle defects reported by the client in Manufacturing, Distribution and EDI packages on Baan ERP 5.0b.

Responsibilities:

· Reproducing problem reported by the customers and developing Hot Fixes.
· Testing Hot Fixes before releasing them to the production environment.
· Identifying the test data for scenario testing of customer reported problem.
· Unit and Integration Testing of Fixes released by other team members.
· Root cause analysis for repetitive defects. 
· Performing Regression Testing on all the portions of the program affected by the bug fix. 
· Execute Production Order workflow from material procurement, production planning, manufacturing, marketing, sales, service to financial reconciliation for manufacturing module related defects.
· Performing Workflow Testing covering chain of transactions that flow together in business process and scenarios.
· Tested integrations with Finance, Contract management and Service modules while working on defects in Distribution package.
· Performing troubleshooting and debug for minor program bugs. 
· Performing System Test after bug fixing to validate the changes in business scenarios.
· Integration Testing with Sales, Purchase and Warehouse modules in EDI related defects.
· Handling status meetings with Client and Project Manager on open defect tickets and progress of the team on each item.
· Generating weekly bug report for Client and Team management.
· Conducting Bug Bashes for critical releases.

SysArris Software (Erstwhile s e-technologies Pvt. Ltd.)
specializes in Baan systems integration services like developing adapters for Baan and also in developing enterprise specific customizations in Baan.  Responsible for the design and development of various customization projects specializing in Manufacturing and Distribution suites on Baan 4c3, Baan 4c4 and BaanERP 5.0b.
Ø Support Engineer for the clients, Flowserve, GNP computers, Flextronics, Extreme Networks for handling defects in the interface developed for Agile with Baan Engineering Data Management module.
Ø For the client Benchmark, developed and maintained the Approved Source List as an extension to the Baan Distribution package for managing material procurement. 
Ø For the client Euclid Hitachi, developed and maintained the porting of the Quality SE module used to maintain product non-conformance information, from Baan 4c3 to Baan 5.0.
Ø For the client Tioga Pipes, performed enhancements on the Fast Sales Order Entry solution to improve order entry efficiency on Baan 4c3.

Responsibilities:

· Preparing and execution of test plans for new product features
· Reproducing and releasing fixes for defects reported by customers.
· Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and Coordination with team members for executing the project to meet deadlines.
· Executing test scenarios to review product functionality.
· Designing and developing test cases according to the functional requirements and design specifications of the customizations.
· Maintaining and enhancing Test Plans to accommodate new functionality and testing methodology.

The Baan Company (Now Infor Global Solutions) is one of the world's leading providers of scalable enterprise business solutions.  As part of the Product Testing Group, I was responsible for the complete testing of 4 product modules of the Baan Service package which involved

Ø Working with Business Consultants in analyzing the requirements for the new feature ‘Subcontract Management’ on Baan 5.1a and preparing the conceptual solution document and comprehensive test plan during early phases of the project. 
Ø Unit Testing of ‘Maintenance Sales Control’ module and coordinating with the developers to solve the defects.
Ø Integration testing of the module ‘Service Order Control’ with ‘Contract Management’ module and also with an external field service package called ‘Tinoway’.
Ø Designing, development, execution and maintaining automated test scripts for regression testing for assigned product features.
Ø Development and execution of Functional Integration Testing of the service package with other packages in Baan.

Responsibilities:
· Reviewing and analyzing the requirements document for writing test cases.
· Review of design requirements and documents.
· Reviewing Test plans and cases with the development team for validation.
· Developing Unit Testing of modules and coordinating with the developers to solve the defects.
· Assigning and tracking defects based on Severity and criticality of the defect to the developers.
· Tracking progress of defect.
· Reviewing and Regression Testing fixes from development.
· Designing and execution of System Test involving validation of the package in a business scenario.
· Developing test plans and test cases for validation of the screens and workflows for quality assurance.
· Development and execution of System Integration test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications
· Participating in Beta and User Acceptance testing.
