Project is based on Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) file formats. Hess has constructed these transactions to follow the EDI structure and utilizes the EDI name for the files as their naming convention. 814/867/810/850/824 EDI Transaction (Inbound and Outbound) maintain by application. Receive EDI format inbound transaction and convert into XML format and vice versa.

Ø       This project is related to insurance domain. This is three tier application using ASP.Net as Front End, BizTalk and C# as Business Layer and SQL Server 2005 as Database Layer. This project includes modifications to IT Systems and the coordination of business activities to support the Variable Annuity line of business. L&A automates the two-way flow of information needed to manage agent information between insurance carriers and distributors to fulfill licensing and appointment requirements, which are mandated state by state. Allianz life insurance is getting the licensing and appointment information from DTCC (The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation) in the form of flat files. EsbHub.LNA application converts this flat file to XML format and vice-versa using Receive Pipeline. LNA application is ASP.Net with C# and BizTalk project which pickup XML file from EsbHub.LNA application. Front End (ASP.Net Pages) validates required field validation and sends XML File to BizTalk Project and Business Flow handles by BizTalk Orchestration. Orchestrations call the Web Services and WS internally calls Database to get/update the agent Information respective broker dealer. The Application handles Transactions base on the condition and using scheduling to get information from Database during a particular time period (weekly or daily) to generate the reports.
