eHealth Suite (http://www.ca.com/us/products/product.aspx?ID=5637)
is a Network Management System (NMS) which monitors operation of networks (LAN, WAN) and status of their nodes and elements in real-time mode. It collects all network operational statistics (i.e. information about the system’s configuration, status, performance, users, processes, file systems and much more) and processes it to be displayed in multi-format reports for network administrator’s purposes. This is a multi-platform (Windows, Unix, HP) product written on C++ and using Oracle DB, Apache web server, a big number of Integration Modules (Cisco ISC, Lucent EMS IM, Nortel GGSN, Alcatel IM, HP OpenView IM, Starent IM etc.).
The work of the eHealth is built on SNMP protocol (eHealth as a manger (NMS), SystemEdge as network agent and MIB).

 
eHealth Suite consists of the following parts:
 
 - eHealth for Network Management;
 - eHealth for System and Application Management;
 - eHealth for Application Performance Management;
 - eHealth for End-to-End Infrastructure Management.

 
Responsibilities:
 
SQA Manager 
(gathering, managing, analyzing and documenting project-relevant requirements; supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and standards applicable in CA Corp., USA; communication with Framingham head-office in Massachusetts; coordination of target dates for test assignments in Minsk QA office; reviewing testing progress and results via the system of PTSs 
(project tracking spreadsheet) and in bug-tracking system; coordinating marketing issues; interviewing, hiring and training employees; resolving logistics issues, etc).

Writing manuals and help files for a series of MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) system developed by Xpress Systems - www.xssoftware.com.
 
The majority of the projects were built on VB 6.0 (SP4), MS SQL Server 2000, ADO, ASP, Crystal Reports.

Advanced Time Reports Web/Client/Server 

 - adding, editing and removing information on working hours for any specific day in on-line mode;
 - making and reviewing personal time card and reports of various profile;
 - determining permissions for various categories of users;
 - adding, editing and removing users, companies, company groups, departments, projects, locations, clients and service level agreements;
 - changing personal preferences.

 
Advanced Order Entry

 - managing all information regarding terms of order fulfillment;
 - viewing, adding, dividing and updating order information and make documents; 
 - finding and retrieving just the wanted data;
 - analyzing data in a specific layout.

 
GWGTimeLabor

 - keeping track of employees' work schedule;
 - analyzing data on employee attendance;
 - editing employee attendance data;
 - making reports and cards pertinent to employee attendance;
 - adding/editing factories, employees and shifts;
 - determining parameters for paid vacation and factory variables;
 - creating new time registration schemata and apply on various factories;
 - importing employee picture from video device/file.

 - importing, storing, correcting, processing and retrieving information on employee attendance at specific factory; 
 - customizing the list of factories, departments, employees, shifts and exceptions;
 - setting rounding rules for any shift either manually or automatically;
 - making and print/preview a number of reports on various aspects of employee attendance;

TekFormDefectTracking
 
 - tracking damaged, relaminated and repaired products;
 - retrieving just the data you want;
 - specifying damage type of parts;
 - specifying quantity of parts due to be repaired, relaminated, or damaged and assign defect codes;
 - dividing your data into separate storage containers called tables;
 - making up various types of product reports.

SE BOM Extractor

 - reading and retrieving data from the drawings of manufactured products and to save the data in the project's database;
 - flexibly changing the program's parameters to access and process specific assemblies/subassemblies.

Elilink Consulting, http://www.elilink.com, is a software design consulting company with 120 employees operating in Minsk, Belarus. I am a director of a QA department consisting of 17 employees. 


Responsibilities included:

• gathering, managing, analyzing and documenting project-relevant requirements;

Xpress Software, http://www.xssoftware.com, is a software developing company in Toronto, Canada. In 2000 it established an offshore office in Minsk, Belarus, with 15 employees, where I started to work as a technical writer and tester. Later on I was promoted to the position of a Program Manager.

Responsibilities included:

• communication with Toronto office, determining the priority of the tasks to be done both in testing and technical writing departments;
• solving organizational and administrative questions in Minsk team office;
• final testing of applications before they are sent to Toronto office;
• gathering functionality-relevant information from development team;
• writing user manuals for the applications either in DOC, HLP or CHM file format in English;
• making dataflow diagrams, making descriptions of program modules in HTML for our company's WEB site.
