I created the current UWEC Service-Learning site using AJAX calls for page design features. The UWEC servers did not allow Server-side scripting and the department wanted to edit page design without having to change every single page. Usually this could be done with templates in Dreamweaver to, often limited, success but they did not have that software. So I applied AJAX to the situation to solve the problem. One of the more creative applications of the method.
