I was excited to participate in a panel at the World Bank last week about “An Open Conversation on Technology and Jobs,” presented by the Jobs Knowledge Platform and led by World Bank Managing Director Mahmoud Mohieldin. Online work is quickly becoming a large piece of the global employment picture, and its impact on economies around the world (especially developing economies, according to the Financial Times) is already an important topic of discussion.
