Hi, Grace/Moderator. What could have caused this issue in the first place?
I think we all deserve an explanation at least as to what triggered it in the first place. And why it has taken this long to fix it, considering that this issue has been acknowledged in this thread as early as May 30. It's now June 4. Saying that it's probably the same as what happened a couple of months ago, just won't do.
I created a ticket for this yesterday, but I am yet to receive any reply (despite the 2-hour supposed response time).
I have been active with oDesk since February 2012 and this is the first time that I encountered this issue.
oDesk posted this on the Help page yesterday. NOT in the Main page.
"Please note that several Local Fund Transfers to the Philippines were delayed one business day. We apologize for the inconvenience."
As it is, I would not have been able to read it had I not clicked on that Help link. Now, it's totally gone, that notice.
I hope oDesk could have posted the notice on the Main page. And earlier. It would have enabled affected parties ample time to do contingency financial measures.
I hope oDesk could respond to our inquiries here, and help quickly restore our trust and confidence in the system.

Over here, in the Phil. we wait for our payments on Friday and, because we were not given any sign or cue that payments will be delayed, don't be surprised if most of us are logging in at our banks' websites to check if the pay is there.
So imagine the frustration we feel when it's not there and nobody....yes nobody from oDesk gave us enough warning that the payment will not arrive on the expected date.
Of course, your customer service reps can always count on "but it takes two to five days" etc spiel. Yeah, everybody knows that but didn't you pitch that your LFT has improved already? We take this kind of statement seriously, esp. from you. Yet we don't seem to take us seriously when we all flock to the forum to ask "why" "when" "what happened?"
So okay, we wait again over the weekend and expect to find our payment Monday night. Now where is it, oDesk? Some have received their already? What happened? And please don't give us the other spiel "pls ask your local banks" because they also tell us all they ever need to do is receive the payment.
It's super frustrating... really, please use your imagination to know how frustrating it is. Is there someone on the other end????
Odesk is becoming a very frightening platform. Do you really care oDesk?
I am using EON, have been checking online several times already and funds not here up to now. Anyone who tried checking via ATM?

Mine too still not here. It's been the expected date as you gave on the email but still doesn't get my funds. oDesk! this is annoying and very disappointing. We understand if you delay the funds from 3 business days but making it longer than that is not reasonable. I hope you understand our situation.

it is really frustrating. this is the first time I experienced this delay. Now I am traumatized. Is paypal more stable?
Next time I will use Paypal even if oDesk has no problem with local funds transfer. I hate this delay. I would love to sacrifice $2 rather than waiting 24hrs. It cost us more than $2 just waiting for funds to arrive.
I think we need to watch out for the US Holidays as this may affect our funds. Also, it will help if Odesk somehow has a Finance personnel to monitor and answer this kinds of problems as their CS can't really help us. I'll be back again this Friday.
Yes paypal is more stable, though it has a lower exchange rate. When you transfer your fund on a Wednesday money will hit your account Friday night also, but of course with no delay.
I will use paypal next week, better than tire myself checking on the funds. I hope this issue will be resolved.
To EON users please update when you get your funds. I really hope we get it in a while.
EON users. I think our money will arrive tomorrow, hopefully. I am getting tired of checking my balance. Very traumatic experience. Will use paypal next time.

I always use Payoneer if I need the money right away, but I also use Paypal. The problem with Payoneer are the sky high fees you have to shoulder. When I withdraw my funds using Payoneer I end up paying $4.50 (including immediate reload fee) and P200 using an ATM machine (these days I use Metrobank ATM's since other ATM machines won't let me withdraw money, anyone of you experienced the same thing?), besides this I have to leave $3 in the card (I don't know why). It's really frustrating!

So, I withdrew my funds Friday night last week (Manila time), Paypal showed completed (Saturday night) Lo and behold ... upon checking my online account (EON)today, the money is not there. Why is everything so complicated these days? Is it a sign of impending doom? The end of days? LOL brighten up guys tomorrow is another day (to get frustrated)

I checked my bank and still no money. What the heck oDesk school is starting I need the money to pay the enrollment fee. What's wrong with LFT? Please explain it to us and make us understand. It gets more frustrating because you guys can't explain what happened. Please don't give us the same 3-5 days BS because you posted
I know it's hard in our part that we didn't receive the money yet in our account. I am one of it who transferred $ on May 30. I believe that PATIENCE is the key. Don't try so hard and asking why to Odesk. We will get our money in time. Based on my experience, the maximum day that EON can give us is on Tuesday 8pm.
Totally agree with you! Maybe we should also set some precautionary methods if we can! Perhaps we should set a date allowance when withdrawing our money to avoid delays like this specially when we need the money to use it for important reasons.. There are really Instances that technical Issues like this occurs, and I'm sure Odesk is doing all it can to solve this issue.

Perhaps you don't need the money as much as I do or perhaps you don't have agency contractors who asks you why the delay and whenever they see you online the first thing they ask is "any update on our pay?".
I totally agree. Maybe you don't know how important for us to have that on time or Maybe you don't have children to feed, bills to pay and etc... PATIENCE is gone after oDesk failed to give us feedback on what is causing the problem again and most of us are very disappointed for having more than 5 business days delay. :@
Im indonesian, i also have not received money. It should on my bank yesterday. After read this forum. I think there lof off members heve not received their money.
Sorry to hear that man. So this issue is not limited to LFT in the Philippines but in other countries as well. Obviously an issue on oDesk not on our banks.

My team mate, who used BPI withdrew her funds Thursday but was able to get the money last night. I withdrew earlier (Wednesday morning), but I am using EON so I guess they deposit the money by batch/bank.
Too bad they chose EON to be the last. How about you guys what are your banks?
I think the culprit is EON... I withdrew mine using paypal to eon and my money isn't there, it usually just take another day to appear after paypal tag the transaction completed. I emailed them, anyone of you tried to contact Unionbank?
I'm using EON as well. We can only speculate since oDesk doesn't have a definite answer. So oDesk which side has an issue, our banks or yours? We need an answer so that we can perhaps change bank if our bank is at fault. I'm using EON because I transfer funds to my agency contractors. It's easier on EON than in BPI but I have BPI.

I used paypal this week via EON, and my fund's still not here. Paypal status is completed though, let us wait until 9pm if nothing the problem is with EON.
