It sometimes get frustrating for both the buyer and provider when the assignment is suspended as critical for non-payment. Recently, one of the assignments of ours went critical due to funds not paid by the buyer. This is what the buyer had to say to us.
"It seems that they no longer accept Discover which is the only card we have ever used with Odesk. This is not a problem but highly frustrating as it only takes a moment to tell me this in advance and to find out the customers who use Discover is easy since all Discover cards start with the number 6. I just despise poor customer service! I will update the card but I have to get corporate to give me one so this might take a day or two.
What is going on here causing hardship to both sides and why? If such things need to happen, why is advance notice not given. My developer is sitting idle for last two days, the work is getting delayed unnecessarily frustrating both of us.
