When contractor ends a contract from client, what happens, no payment recieved when ending contract.

Let me put it like this, I applied for one smaller job, cause in few days I'm going abroad for few weeks, and can't work there, cause I'm going to honeymoon , the job was small fixed price. I didn't get any message or interview I just got contract served, and after that I sent message to client asked questions that were important for fixing bug, didn't get any reply.
Now I want to end contract form my side, cause first I don't have any more time and will be away like I said for few weeks, but now when I click on end contract it says: "Are you sure you want to end this contract? You have not received payment. If you're waiting for payment for work done, please talk to the client before closing the contract. " + most important part:
"Once this contract is ended, the client will have the opportunity to provide feedback." My question is if I end it, will employer be able to leave bad feedback and LOWER my feedback till now drastically if he chooses to put feedback 1 for example. I don't want that to happen. Till now I got perfect sore and want to maintain it.
None of the payment has been received so far, I just want to end contract and neither of the parties to give the feedback.
Is that something new that after ending of contract from contractor, client can give feedback?? Please help, anyway I will contact support tomorrow, cause I did for one contract before and they terminated it with no problem. but curious for this situation, please reply if you had exp. with it. Thank you.
