I don't have a credit card, what other options are there to pay my contractors

You need a credit card. There is apparently a paypal option; but you have to stump up a credit card for verification first.

You can't.

Regardless of how you pay your contractors - you MUST have a credit card on file to become a client with a verified payment method. If you have a contractor account you can use your actual earnings in your oDesk wallet to pay them, but without a credit card you can not verify payment, hence you can not employ anyone here.

You need a credit/debit card that allows online payments in order to verify your payment method. Once that's done, you can choose to pay via PayPal or (if you are a contractor) your available funds in the oDesk Wallet.

oDesk "wallett"

If i have x amount in the odesk "wallet"? can the contractor extract it without me having to find where to send it.
i have the help version of how to pay a fixed price contract, and i cannot for the life of me get this most desired contractor paid. I think i have lost his trust, due to unclear setup and payment instructions on your site.
I cannot find an A TO Z how to guide on how to smoothly get a job done.
I have hired 2 other contractors, and they are not too clear on this process either.

If your contractors only have contractor accounts, they wouldn't know the exact sequence of the process as there are small differences in the interface for clients and contractors. We don't see the 'Manage My Team' tab that's used for ending the contracts and final payments. On fixed-price contracts the contractor can't extract the money from your wallet without you releasing the amount manually - it would open the system for abuse. Automatic (weekly) charges work with hourly contracts.

As for help file, do you mean this one: How do I make a payment at the end of a fixed-price contract?

I used this with a client I worked with who was new to oDesk and wasn't familiar with the interface at all - it worked fine for him and from I can see, it's pretty much A to Z.

Paying a contractor is simple, if it is a fixed priced contract, on the contracts page you should see an option to make a payment. In the steps ahead you can choose your primary payment method (Usually credit card) or your available funds from oDesk wallet.

Can you please confirm exactly which part is causing you trouble? That way I could guide you through it or point you to specific advice.

Can you please guide me for the procedure of hiring on hourly basis via my oDesk payment.

Currently I can see, my "Payment Method Not Verified" in my job post. I am not able to find any link where I can see the option to use my oDesk earning as payment method anywhere is there any helpful link or text from where I could enable some option and I could pay via my oDesk earning and my payment method would verified at the same time.

OR may I have to enter my payoneer card info for the payment method verification?

Zulqarnain, you will have to verify a credit or debit card (Visa/MasterCard powered) before you can use your oDesk earnings to hire people. You can't use your Payoneer for that purpose I'm afraid. It has to be some other credit/debit card from which you can make online payments. oDesk will deduct two amounts that total to $10 from your card for verification. You will need to quote the two amounts that show up on your bank statement (much simpler if you have online banking, you can get the amounts from your transaction details). oDesk will return the amount once the verification is complete. After that whenever you need to pay your contractors, you can choose your oDesk balance for the purpose (Available balance and NOT pending).

Can I use others credit card? That is a credit card issued in others name.

How to pay?

I have the same issue. How do I pay the contractor? Does she have to invoice me? Do I click End Contract?
This is the first job I have posted - paying the contractors is difficult.
Maybe ODesk can hire someone to help resolve this issue!

Payment depends on whether the contract is hourly or fixed price. For hourly contracts, payment is automated as per the Weekly Pay Schedule.

For fixed price contracts, you need to make the payment manually by visiting the contract details page. You don't need to end the contract just to make a payment. If you have more work for the contractor to do, you simply make a one-time payment (bonus/milestone/expense) as required and let the contractor continue working.

For hourly contracts, oDesk bills you and issues the invoices, not necessarily the contractor.
