1) If the client is unverified, exactly how were you PAID for the initial "paid" test? How come the contract does not show in your profile?
2) If you were not paid ANYTHING you still own the work. That means they can not use it, or rather: They can use it but you can have it taken down and cause them all sorts of hassle.
3) $ 8 for 500 words is NOT an "exceptional rate"
4) You are working in violation of this site's TOS, and your profile is in violation of the rules also.
Every contractor can only have one account, and every account can only be used by ONE individual person!
Of course I was not paid for the test as well. I know I still own my articles and I can take some action on it.
I was just giving example of the rate. I know its not too much. The reason why I posted it here so that the other 22 people who are being interviewed by her can take some warning and stop working for her. I guess the purpose is not served because odesk edited all the details.
And no I am not in violation of the profile rules because my account is my identity and only one of us operates and gets payment in a single account. I do know what I am doing. Thanks
We are here to offer you a variety of creative services. If you feel you need a well-researched, out-of-the-box marketing solution, then contact us. We offer you:
And just how many people is 'we' in reference to?
Which then defines Twinsly as being pural.
no only one of us operates it. we share the work. It depends on the contractor how he/she gets the work done. The account is on one name. check again. and secondly the clients love my work. they have no problem with it. Its no company. its a brand.
I've just flagged your account because you are breaking every rule in the book. I am sure others have done the same.
that is so not helpful and exactly opposite of community support.
" Each oDesk User account must be used by only one person, and each person is allowed to use only one User account."
And NOBODY is going to support you for cheating. You're one to talk about fraudulent companies. Pot meet kettle.
(BTW- $8 for 500 words are bottom feeder rates.)
I know exactly why you are doing so. I do not mind. My intention is clean and I came here to help people not create more trouble for them.
"I have mopped myself into a corner and now I'm going to smash a hole in the wall to get outside without ruining my nice, clean floor."
The way to report a client is by flagging the client and any fraudulent jobs using the button oDesk conveniently provides everywhere.
The way to take action against a client who has stolen your work is by contacting support, getting them on the case and letting them take action. Plus flagging the job or jobs offered by that client.
You profile is against the rules and so is the work you do. If you have a profile that clearly states that two people do the work then it's against the rules.
You don't know what you're doing - else you'd not be in the mess you are with that client. If you work for a client who has not verified his or her payment method then you DON'T know what you're doing.
If you take on a fixed priced contract without upfront payment then you DON'T know what you're doing.
If you work for a week writing lots of articles for a client who has not given you a proper contract and has not verified his / her payment method then you DON'T know what you're doing.
If you say that $ 8 for 500 words is "an exceptional rate" then you DON'T know what you're doing.
If you run a two person account and market it as such then you DON'T know what you're doing.
In summary: If you don't know what you're doing but insist that you DO know what you're doing while complaining that NOT using common sense and working within the rules caused you to be scammed then *CLEARLY* you DON'T know what you're doing.
Need I go on?
Now she's deleted her original post. Let's see what happens next.
Sign of "I don't know what I'm doing, I was told that I don't know what I'm doing, I now feel like a bit of a numpty so I removed the evidence that I don't know what I'm doing and have gone into a corner to sulk because not knowing what I'm doing landed me in hot water and I need time to think of someone else to blame."
...that people come on here and complain about frauds and scammers when they are essentially doing the same thing. Wouldn't it be smarter just to file a dispute and keep your mouth shut about anything else? Sheeesh.
Saba, you are violating the TOS by sharing the work with someone even if only one person operates the account. As per oDesk policy, one person can work through one account, meaning the jobs you land are supposed to be completed only by you. If you have a team and want to work as a team here, then all the team members must have their own accounts. You will then create an agency and invite them to join. Then the client will specifically hire the person who works on their project. If two people are working on the same task for the same client, the client hires them both on separate contracts.
Please get your team members to create their own accounts to work from.
As is you are violating the TOS and I have reported you for it.
ETA: Please change your display photo as well. You can only have a clear shot of yourself or nothing. Group photos aren't allowed.

Always reach for the skies, for even if you fall, you'll still be on the top of the world...
was far more entertaining than I had expected.
I enjoyed the mopping scene.
A set of twins spinning in circles is always comical as well.
Even though she's now changed everything to meet the site guidelines, she and her twin are still going to be using the same account -- now they've just covered it up a bit better. She's still going to be a cheater, now she's just added lying to her game.
Watch their ego cause them to switch between their pics every week.
"It's my turn..." "NO, it's my turn".
Uh, oh. Perhaps she made the changes too late. Everything I search for that should bring up both accounts if they each had one brings back no results. Not even a listing for this one, even though I am using cut and paste straight from the profile.
I guess it is safe to assume oDesk has taken some action on the matter?
Oh dear. What a shame.
Don't know what to call it, but you sure missed a good one.
