Save yourself from these problems

I keep seeing people posting on these forums about contractors do this, contractor did not do that. Be it they are on facebook, logging time while not working on your contract.
Look why dont you give us a link to the original job post that you are getting these results from? I believe it is because of your method you are having these problems.

Do not blame oDesk because you the client decided to hire someone for 1$ per hour.

There are some great contractors on oDesk, you will not find them hiring for 1$ per hour, you will not find them with a 2 line job description. There are plenty of tutuorials on how to write a great job description. Pay people what the job is worth, you will get some good contractors to apply.

Do some research, look through contractors yourself, find one that matches the skills you need, find one that has a record of good reviews (forget the feedback score, look for quality feedback text). You pay with peanuts, you get peanut shells for product.

Feedback

What do you think about 5 stars with no feedback comment? Do you think it means the client want not too happy?

Well..

Natasha,

If a client gives 5 stars then in my opinion that kinda speaks for itself. If they were not entirely happy I think that it would be reflected in the number of stars given.

I do prefer a written response though or 'feedback text' as Charles calls it.

I hate when I can no longer edit my post to correct something Sad Anyway, I guess you're right, but it looks so much better with a comment.

5 stars with no feedback

This can be interpreted in several ways, but the first thing that crosses my mind is reduced price to get good feedback and the client just didnt want to write anything as they really did not think it was 5 star work at all.

Charles,

I know you're not the only one. I read something about this, but I could not find the comments. I wanted to remember the reason why some say it looks bad.
