Unsuccessfully trying to report a violation

I'm trying to report a violation, but the screen freezes when I click "select a subtopic." The application was: Content Publisher, Producer, Manager (231501650). When we talked on the phone, he told me he wanted to pay me away from the oDesk platform. I declined. When I declined, he canceled the application and listed a new job posting. Contractors beware of someone from Canada that appears too good to be true. He ate at least 8 hours of my time last week - through interviews alone.

Reported violation | Have not heard

Hi Ayesha - Yes, I tried that, but it didn't work. However, it did work when I switched from Chrome to Firefox. I reported the violation but have not heard anything from customer support. The buyer posted a new listing for the same job. He won't stop contacting me, so I've blocked his phone number.

What else is one to do when buyers/clients or "whatever you want to call these people" behave unethically?

I would think oDesk would care that a buyer is recruiting contractors and paying off the oDesk platform. That is against the rules, right?

Thanks.

Try live chat!

I reported two clients that tried to do exactly that via live chat and it was taken care of immediately!

Thanks, Petra!

It took me a few days to reply to you, but thanks for the live chat suggestion! Smile I'm still waiting for an answer after submitting a ticket...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
