Why oDesk does not allows card to card transfer service on Payoneer.

Hi,

One of my friend and I have a Payoneer account.
I wanted to fund my payoneer card for several other purposes by using my friends account.

Payoneer does have a card to card transfer service, but while talking to them, they said that oDesk is not allowing such service on the payoneer account opened via oDesk.

Could someone from oDesk support let me know why?

Payoneer Changes

The card is no longer Payoneer issued but MetaBank issued. I would recommend you file a ticket if you with MetaBank are unable to do a card/card transfer... oDesk doens't set the rules for the cards, MetaBank does.

Actually, I think oDesk did set this rule

I hope Nissim from Payoneer will come and answer, but if I remember correctly it was oDesk who set the "no card-to-card" transfer rule. I vaguely remember a previous thread on this.

If that's the same as the "private load" system then I still have it, but then my Payoneer card isn't oDesk branded.

Whoever is the current banking partner, the rules are largely still set by Payoneer, and each of their trading partners can adjust the way their "branded" cards can be used.

I can think of at least one reason why oDesk might not want this for their branded cards.

This is not the same as our private load service. Card to card transfers allow you to send direct payments to other Payoneer cardholders (at no charge per payment). There is, however, a limit to the amount you can send and receive each month.

He asked that it's impossible to enable "card to card" option. Also we can not close this account and open new one also impossible. So there are no possibility for oDesk users enable this option.

You can't - oDesk does not allow it!
