Payments API question

I've successfully used the Custom Payment API to send (POST) a payment to a worker.

Now I'm trying to get a list of the payments (GET) I have made for an engagement. I'm using the same values I use when I post a payment, but it doesn't seem to work.

I send along the worker's odesk id as the team_reference. I get an error saying ,"message":"Company 12345 not found"}. But I can use this odesk id to make a payment. What's up? (I made up the number, btw, for this example).
