Job Summary
Minito HR Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Specialist Contractor to assist and administer various general human resource functions and procedures to support various clients. The HR functions include recruitment strategies, benefits administration, HR compliance job description and employee policy audit, and some HR reporting. The role requires strong HR knowledge, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively address employee concerns and promote positive employee relations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Recruitment & Onboarding
● Assist with developing a recruitment plan to solicit top talent that supports the client’s culture.
● Generate onboarding surveys to monitor and improve the new hire experience.
● Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
● Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations and ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
● Assist with the interviewing process (prescreens, in-person interviews, rejection letters and job offers)
Benefits Administration
● Communicate with third party insurance brokers to vet the best plans.
● Create and distribute communication timeline and information for clients.
● Pull and send relevant data to insurance brokers.
HR Policies & Compliance
● Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
● Conduct HR policies and job descriptions audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
HR Administration
● Utilize Human Resources Information Software (HRIS) to manage staff data and record keeping.
o Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
o Prepare HR reports and assist with HR-related projects as needed.
● Conduct exit interviews upon request.
● Update HR process templates to align with the client’s culture.
● Review HR email and ensure all follow-though communications.
● Perform other HR admin duties as assigned.
Qualifications
● Associate degree in Human Resources or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred
● Minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources
● Proficient with HRIS systems (ADP, Paycor, Paylocity, etc.)
● Strong, demonstrated technological proficiency with Google Drive and OneDrive
● Strong written and oral communications skills
● Ability to multitask to meet project deadlines

● Ability to work cooperatively with individuals of diverse racial/economic/cultural backgrounds
