Fireman Creative is seeking a WordPress web developer.  The successful candidate will collaborate with our team to add additional intake form fields on a WordPress website that integrates with Salesforce using CRM Perks Pro.  

Work off-site. We are open to a contract or freelance arrangement as well.

We prioritize proven work, so please make sure to submit work samples with your application (links to live projects preferred). You'll need at least two years of experience to meet the qualifications below, but we're not opposed to hiring an individual who can prove to us they can do the job.

Ideal Candidates would meet the following qualifications:
+ Must be available between the business hours of (9am - 6pm EST), can be flexible later
+ Advanced WordPress knowledge, including CPTs, system architecture, all Admin features, MUST know WordPress Action and Filter hooks (and the WP Page Lifecycle)
+ Advanced Elementor skills (including all looping tools)
+ Advanced Salesforce knowledge
+ Advanced Gravity Forms including experience with CRM Perks Pro
+ Significant Gutenberg skills (including common add-ons like Stackable, etc)
+ Moderate to advanced skills with critical plugins, including ACF, CF7, TEC5 and 6, WP All Import (and WP all Export)
+ Able to write and troubleshoot manual HTML
+ Able to write manual CSS in the WP Customizer (as well as other WP interfaces for CSS entry)
+ Comfortable with Git
+ Basic Figma skills from Dev POV: Export assets, manage layouts, replicate Figma designs in Elementor
+ Basic PHP background (including Shortcode development with WP’s official Shortcode patterns)
+ Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL
+ Familiarity with project management and productivity tools like Basecamp, Google Workspace, etc

Additional bonus skills include:
+ Advanced Gutenberg skills: Block development and FSE
+ Moderate to advanced JavaScript skills, including AJAX, and non-jQuery snippets as required
+ Strong PHP skills (including DI, new PHP8 features)
+ Familiarity with popular WP themes and builders: Beaver Builder, Divi, Genesis, WP Bakery
+ Advanced skills with additional critical plugins, including Metabox
+ Able to support SASS in common work environments (including Brew SASS)
+ WordPress theming and plugin development
+ REST APIs (especially WP REST)
+ Basic familiarity with Roots.io stack including Trellis, Bedrock, Sage 7 and Sage 8
+ Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
+ Familiarity with Meta (Facebook, Instagram, etc, including the Business Manager)
