We sell guns/ammo/gear via ecommerce website marketed through deal listing sites. Looking for help calculating prices on profitable items and posting those into deal listing sites. We want to make profits, and only handle transactions that are profitable. This involves evaluating prices charged in the market, our costs from distributors, to decide which profitable items to post for sale at what price on Wikiarms, Gun.Deals, etc. The profit calculation needs to be run a couple times daily to adjust decisions based on other sellers actions (they move their price up or down, go out of stock). Market price data source: A service offered by Gun.Deals called Price Optimization could help us increase sales. And profits. See their service at https://gun.deals/content/dealers-api-access. Items that are profitable need to be priced to compete, pricing would be set via API into our ecommerce tool (Ammoready) so they may be fed into the deal listing sites. Ammoready platform API info : https://api.ammoready.com Cost data sources: We can use Ammoready's product catalog data, covers 5 distributors and 50,000 items. We also have access to a service called Flxpoint, which includes better data on the Ammoready-listed distributors, plus one more and its added 50,000 items. We have several distributors with FTP or spreadsheet data catalogs, not fed via API to either Ammoready or Flxpoint. Existing API feeds: We have an automated product feed now pushing some 50,000 items from Ammoready into Gun.Deals, and their sister deals listing Wikiarms.com. We end up selling only about 200 different items a month now in 300-350 transactions. Another feed comes through Flxpoint and hits Gunbroker.com with 50,000 items. We want to eventually push all 100,000 items through Flxpoint into BigCommerce, and retire our Ammoready account.
