Problem we're trying to solve: We send a lot of product offers to our customers via email. Many get lost in their inboxes or they don't respond on time because they forget. On the flip side, our team sometimes misses our customer's orders resulting from those offers and time is wasted chasing orders that are already in our cluttered inboxes. This causes a lot of missed opportunities and/or generates more emails resulting in more clutter. Solution: We would like to create a central Google Sheet or dashboard where our customer can easily see the offers available, what requires action, have all the related details and documents linked, and we can all follow the status of the offer in the pipeline (reviewed, accepted, rejected, pending negotiation, etc.) as well as update with necessary information along the way. Certain status updates or addition of information will trigger email notifications (delivery date changed, factory dropped product X from production, invoice posted, etc.) or requests for other actions (accept change, reject change, upload wire confirmation, etc.) Our back office is not that tech savvy and neither is our customer so we would like a simple solution and interface that would not be too intrusive to their existing routines. Potentially an integration/automation solution using Google Sheet, Dropbox, etc. but we are open to suggestions for best tech stack to get this done. We would like to get this done ASAP.
