We're on the lookout for a seamstress to provide additional support for our growing brand. This role is remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or studio. Tasks primarily involve sewing pre-prepared patterns with provided fabrics to ensure they're ready to ship, rather than made-to-order. Workload will vary based on our needs, your availability, and fabric availability, with a goal of creating 3-5 pieces per size per month if time permits and fabric is available. The main responsibility will be to sew pieces like bikinis, sets, and dresses, with sizes ranging from extra small to extra large, and plans to expand to include sizes XXS, XXL, and plus sizes in the future. Your flexible output will be essential in accommodating our growing range of sizes. Work will include sewing 3 different products initially, with each product requiring 3 pieces in each size. This means the workload will be 45 pieces per month for each product, potentially more or less depending on the need and your availability. (If 45 pieces takes longer than a month it is acceptable & we will see what works best! We will have seamstress begin with most likely 10-30 pieces a month to start. Workload eventually may include about 25-30 hours a week but to start workload will be 5-15 hours per week since this job is for additional assistance. Also, our basic bikinis take one hour to make & fabric is pre cut and sent to you. As we create different pieces including sets, dresses, bikinis the time to create may vary. An appropriate creation time will be agreed upon between Sophia (business owner) and seamstress. But that's not all! Alongside supplemental help, there's an opportunity to contribute creatively. If you're interested or skilled in pattern making from scratch, we welcome your input. This means you'll have a chance to bring concepts to life and potentially shape the future of our designs. If you're passionate about fashion and enjoy a mix of structured work and creative freedom, we'd love to hear from you! Searching for an expert in the outdoor apparel industry with experience with technical fabrics. I have a Tech Pack currently that would need a little tweaking, and really looking for a expert in the fabrics side of things, from breathable, stretch, DWR coating, lightweight Polyesters and Nylons Fabrics to be used in pants, jackets and vests. Once fabric has been decided, move to a prototype, so any experience with this would also be great. I do have some comparable products to reference and general idea of the fabric type, weight, etc. so not starting from zero. Mainly looking for someone to help me finalize the perfect fabric, create a prototype, and move towards production run. The project would be working directly with me in identifying the fabrics, and getting set up for a prototype. My schedule is very flexible during the day so no after hours type availability unless thats what works on your end. I love to brainstorm and would lean in heavily on your expertise. Starting initially with a pant production then moving to a jacket and vest.
