We would like to redesign our backyard (landscaping). Current dimensions of ~40ft x 60ft. It is surrounded by a fence, with landscape beds and several large pine trees around the perimeter, a large patio, some garden beds, and a large grass area. (See attached photo). Our primary goals are to make the backyard feel more private and enhance the aesthetics. We are thinking about removing some of the grass. expanding the landscaping beds, adding more trees or tall shrubs (to the perimeter and/or alongside the edges of the patio, adding some DG+stone paths, and probably a fire pit as well.
