I’m a residential home builder in Northern Illinois and I’m looking for a new architect to complete drawings that will be used to obtain permit & build house. I currently have several houses that need to be drawn but this posting is only for the first one. This project is for a 1,500sf single story home plus 400sf garage on a slab foundation with truss roof. I will provide a sample set of plans for you to reference for explications & guidance. The finalized set of drawings don’t need to be super detailed but they do need to include floor plan, elevation drawings, foundation plan, walls section, electrical plan, plumbing schedule, and light/vent schedule. You will also need to provide bother orientations of them home (garage right / garage left).
