Just launched a new job portal focusing on Airport Careers and looking for an experienced person to help me reach my market. Working at various large airports across the US as a hiring manager, I know that the target candidate is typically a millennial or Generation Alpha ranging from 18 year old to 45 years old. Most employees come from lower income to middle income backgrounds and are high school graduate up to associate degrees, with many looking at trade schools. The minimum range at NY area airport is $19/hour (even for a cleaner), which is 25% higher than the state minimum wage, so the jobs are appealing. Unfortunately many people are not aware of the opportunities within airports. Generally people living in areas surrounding the airports up to a 30 mile radius apply as commuting distance is a major factor. I am open to suggestions for marketing vehicles, but was thinking social media. This is just a start up so budget is limited and will be gradually increased based on results of the marketing strategy. I have direct visibility on traffic to the site and can tell by IP address the origin of the queries.
