As we expand our services, we are seeking a seasoned Director of Marketing Operations to lead and optimize our marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
The Role:
The Director of Marketing Operations will be responsible for building and managing a lean, mostly off-shore, highly effective part-time marketing team. This role will focus on developing comprehensive job descriptions, hiring for various marketing functions, and managing a diverse range of digital marketing activities within a predefined budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement job roles and descriptions for marketing functions including social media, blog writing, link building, directory management, and more.
Hire and manage a part-time marketing team to execute tasks efficiently with high impact.
Oversee SEO strategies, including local SEO, link building, and content optimization to enhance online presence.
Drive PR initiatives to secure media placements and enhance brand visibility.
Manage and optimize UX, conversion rates, and overall website performance.
Develop and execute email marketing campaigns and design visual media.
Formulate branding strategies for new business initiatives and repurpose content for various marketing needs.
Regularly analyze marketing effectiveness and pipeline stages to optimize conversions.
Collaborate with C-suite executives to report on KPIs and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Marketing Director or similar role with expertise in digital marketing, SEO, and PR.
Strong background in team building, particularly in a virtual or remote environment, with experience managing part-time or freelance staff.
Excellent knowledge of local SEO, digital marketing strategies, and public relations.
Experience in UX testing, conversion optimization, and email marketing.
Strong analytical skills to assess performance and implement improvements.
Ability to work closely with executive management and adhere to budgetary constraints.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in creating detailed guides for virtual teams.
