We are working with a partner that has a complex, legacy API that is a SOAP API using XML. It provides a ton of data in a fairly complex XML format. It is very well-documented. Our production system only needs a small fraction of this data. We would like to create a simple microservices layer (likely in Node.js), created using AWS Lambda and AWS API Gateway. Essentially, the microservices layer would interface with the legacy SOAP API and handle the "heavy lift" of the messiness of it, while providing a "modern," RESTful, JSON experience to our production system that consumes it. Ideally, you will have experience in the US insurance and/or healthcare market.
