The Role: As our Clothing Designer, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our vision to life. You will be responsible for designing a range of clothing that not only aligns with our brand's ethos but also sets new standards in fashion. Your designs will cater to individuals seeking elegance, comfort, and a connection with their faith, all woven into the very fabric of our garments. Key Responsibilities: Design a cohesive collection that embodies the brand's values and aesthetic, with subtle Christian motifs. Conduct market research to identify trends, fabrics, and techniques that align with our brand's identity and sustainability goals. Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality. Provide detailed technical sketches and specifications for production, including materials, colors, and patterns. Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies that accurately represent the brand and its values. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Clothing Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your designs and creativity. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and excellent sketching skills. Deep understanding of garment construction, fabric selection, and pattern making. Ability to interpret our brand's vision into designs that speak to our target audience. Creative thinking with the ability to design outside of traditional norms while maintaining an accessible aesthetic. Knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to forecast future trends. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams. A respectful understanding of Christianity and the ability to incorporate its elements into designs subtly and tastefully.
