There should also be a configurations tab that allows user to customize the ftp hostname, login, and password so that this can be used flexibly in the future. I have a very short timeframe (today if possible).

I have a apple script that i use to synchronize a folder from a FTP. It has been working good for Tiger and Snow Leopard. In Lion and Mountainlion the call to action "ftp" something is no longer a valid function. It has changed to something else. I need the old applescript updated so that it will work on Lion/Mountain lion machines. And maybe beyond that a general review to see if something can be improved.
