We have created C programs that allow us to spin stepper motors to a specific location using the Beaglebones GPIO. As this is a software solution we sometimes encounter “jitter” in the motors operation causing the stepper motors to rotate to the wrong angles. To address this we would like to use hardware controlled motion instead using the Beagles Programmable Realtime Units.
