THIS IS NOT A BUSINESS ANALYST POSITION! Lean Six Sigma certification required. 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM in U.S. time zone. Our company, well known in the Leadership Development field is looking for an experienced process analyst to work in a pool of other process analysts, supporting the Global Business Process Office. You'll spend most of your time documenting and analyzing internal workflows and business processes collaborating with internal subject matter experts and assessing waste (Lean), data, and information. Projects range in scope - some are IT related others support operational functions. Responsible for documenting business process modeling activities, analyzing and assessing business processes and requirements, identifying, and suggesting improvements to existing processes, and making recommendations to support process improvements. Experience documenting business processes using a standard such as BPMN (Business Process Management Standards, BPMN (Business Process Management Notation), and/or UML (Unified Modeling Language) to deliver consistent, high-quality business process assets. We are growing our Lean Six Sigma maturity within the larger organization, so contractor must be ready to teach, explain, and get tactical. We are data poor, so you'll need to get creative about assembling data from qualitative methods, using your toolkit of Lean Six Sigma tools. You'll be comfortable crafting process flowcharts, procedures, work instructions, SIPOCs, value stream maps, as well as GAP logs, risk and issues, prioritization maps and other items common to a LSS practitioner. You'll support efforts to achieve higher process governance, maturity, and value through project approach. The best candidate will have a high tolerance for agile work, ambiguous scope, changing priorities, multi-tasking and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional management, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills are required. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (minimum), demonstrated understanding and ability to apply improvement methodologies such as DMAIC, Lean, and Six Sigma. 5+ years of experience in operations, operations improvement, or in business process management field. Experience documenting using a standard writing style (such as UML). Knowledge of and experience using project management methodology (certification a plus, but not required). Knowledge of and experience in change management a plus. Excellent computer skills including Excel (QI Macros), Visio, Word, SharePoint, project management software and/or platforms (such as ClickUp, Microsoft Project, Monday or other). Note: We use ClickUp. Lastly ... you'll work in an up-and-coming part of the organization with a team of other pioneers. The process analyst team is a close-knit group of innovators, that supports one another, and works every day on Lean Six Sigma best practices in application to their projects. We want to hire a person that gets along with others, rolls with the punches, puts in a good day's work, likes to help others, doesn't need a lot of hand holding, and can work with a variety of internal people, from VPs to SMEs.
