About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers. You will provide support with purchases, inquiries, technical issues, and product-related questions via phone, email and chat.
Hours/Availability:
Must be available to work in the Pacific Time zone, an average of 40 hours per week
Willing to work extended hours as needed, per day or per week, and holidays, to meet business needs
Must be willing to work one weekend day per week
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers via review portals, phone, email, chat, and social media channels
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, provide accurate information, and assist with product-related questions and technical issues
Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate with internal teams to address customer needs and escalate issues as necessary
Provide product demonstrations and guidance to customers on product features, setup, and usage
Process orders, returns, and exchanges, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of customer service policies and procedures
Stay updated on product updates, promotions, and company policies to effectively communicate with customers
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a technology or consumer electronics industry
Proficiency in handling customer service for Amazon and Shopify sellers
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy
Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on providing accurate and efficient service to customers
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
