Job Title: New Graduate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate new graduate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a new LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1.Deliver compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and nursing standards.
2.Assess patients’ health status, develop nursing care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
3.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
4.Monitor patients’ vital signs, recognize any changes or deterioration, and take appropriate actions.
5.Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care and treatment plans effectively.
6.Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
7.Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
8.Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
9.Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
10.Support a culture of excellence, compassion, and teamwork within the healthcare facility.
Qualifications:
1.Recent completion of an accredited nursing program and successful attainment of RN licensure.
2.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
3.Dedication to providing patient-centered care and a commitment to upholding ethical and professional nursing standards.
4.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize patient needs efficiently.
5.Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow as a professional nurse, open to feedback and continuous improvement.
6.Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
