I'm looking for an experienced screenwriter to write a short comedy film. I want to have a runtime of about 40 minutes. I already have a three-act structure outlined and have created 4 main characters. As far as Character development, comedic style etc. I would like this person to provide full creativity. I have written a comedy (short film script) that I will shoot this summer. I am looking for a solo writer or a comedy team to add to the script. I don't care how much experience you have, as long as you are FUNNY!! I will pay the writer(s) AND give them writers credit on the film. This short film will premiere at all of the major film festivals(Sundance, Toronto, Cannes, Tribeca, etc.) in the fall and winter of 2024/2025. This is a great opportunity for someone to break into the film business who has not written a comedy film script, or for an experienced comedy team to add to their resume.
