Job Overview:
We are initiating an exciting new venture and seeking a pioneering individual to fill the role of Job Placement Specialist/Recruiter. This role will not be hiring for our team but rather will partner with companies to help them staff their teams. We are seeking someone who is results-driven, collaborative, organized, independently motivated, has vision, and knows how to execute on it. This role is new to our team as we expand our services to connect former educators with diverse job opportunities at other companies.
The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to develop and create relationships with companies seeking to hire candidates with educational backgrounds. Additionally, they will be responsible for recommending tools and establishing systems to organize applicant data, hiring manager needs, and more, ensuring our team operates with efficiency and precision. This position is fully remote and offers flexible hours, requiring at least 20 hours per week.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Research and identify potential partner companies. Spearhead the development and cultivation of relationships with companies interested in hiring former educators for various roles.
2. Collaborate with team members to devise strategies for engaging and establishing connections with prospective employers.
3. Assess the needs of hiring managers and recommend suitable candidates from our pool of talented individuals.
4. Recommend and implement tools and systems to organize applicant data, hiring manager requirements, and other pertinent information.
5. Work closely with the team to streamline recruitment processes and ensure seamless coordination throughout the hiring cycle.
6. Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities, successes, and challenges.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in recruitment and job placement.
**Qualifications:**
1. Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (preferred).
3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture professional relationships.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. High level of organization and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work very independently, be personally motivated, and take initiative in a remote work environment.
7. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools (preferred).
8. Knowledge of educational systems and understanding of skills acquired by educators transitioning to other industries (preferred).
