We're on the lookout for a talented podcast editor! If you have a knack for cleaning up vocal audio, removing pesky breathing noises, and making background noise disappear, this gig is for you. This is a freelance position, and has the potential for a long-term partnership.
Responsibilities:
• Polish vocal audio recordings by eliminating background noise, breathing sounds, pops, and other distractions.
• Use your magic touch to apply noise reduction techniques and make the audio quality shine.
• Work your editing wizardry with multiple tracks, including intro/outro music, guest interviews, and host narration.
• Smoothly transition between segments, adjust volume levels, and make the audio sound top-notch.
• Incorporate provided audio files for intro/outro music and speaker audio.
• Deliver the final edited episodes in the required format, and make sure to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with our team to maintain a consistent and professional podcast audio style.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in podcast editing, with a focus on vocal audio cleanup and noise removal.
• Proficiency in professional audio editing software (like Adobe Audition, Audacity, or something similar).
• Solid knowledge of audio mixing, noise reduction, and sound enhancement techniques.
• Ability to work independently, meet project deadlines, and handle up to 5 hours per week.
• Keen attention to detail and an ear for excellent audio quality.
• Great communication skills to understand and incorporate feedback.
