I'm currently working on a project that is having a problem with some functions working when called from another function. For example I have a main function "front" that opens up a tkinter container with buttons. Each of these buttons makes a call to another function on another file and opens up another tkinter container such as an inventory treeview that reads from a database. Another instance it populates a picture for each item in a folder using the PIL package. So the instance of the inventory, the base information won't propagate and preset some information to a dropdown menu for a combo box. Makes no sense to me. The second instance is that of the PIL package not allowing the picture to populate in the frame. It gives it an error for a Py8error for the picture and won't populate any of them. Says it doesn't find it and gives the error. In both of these instances if i run the function frame container from the file standalone itself __main__ then it will work properly as intended. So it seems there is something else not passing something across or what not. I need assistance/tutoring in a resolution with this. This in addition to creating a function for the container frame so I don't have to hard code it into each page. The problem is that I'm not completely sure how to use that and pass the information for the frames across the files. I'm estimating this may take an hour or two or a couple of times to work through. Obviously I'm willing to reward a quicker strategy to get a resolution to my problem. Basically walk through my code, and where I'm passing information to see what is going on with it and advising to find the resolution. I am located in Ohio, and will be looking to work via digital meeting. I'm eastern time zone. I'm looking to do this work in the evening. The sooner the better. I'm looking only for Fluent English speaking in the US. I'll be honest thick accents are hard for me to understand sometimes.
