LOD is seeking in-person Mandarin Language Instructor to teach working adult students located near Fort Meade, MD. Duties and Responsibilities: Create lesson plans and conduct classes for students. Emphasis and focus should be to maximize the student's foreign language proficiency in Mandarin modalities of Listening, Reading, and Speaking, and to improve use of verb tenses, vocabulary and communication skills. Instructor should assign appropriate assignments after each class. Prepare and submit weekly, monthly reports and student evaluations. Qualifications: Native-level proficiency in reading, writing and speaking. Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in formal classroom instruction to students at a high school level or above. Instructor must possess prior experience in class preparation, course development and modification, and/or tutoring within a structured educational setting.
