We are looking to fabricate a nanometer-scale chip-level integrated circuit in three stages, with two prototypes and the final stage productionizable. We are targeting 2 nm to 180 nm process nodes. You will be provided schematics as a Gerber CAD drawing, along with a description of the device. The device has already been breadboarded successfully and scaled through several iterations. The device will have both analog and digital components. The digital side has to be a standard CMOS digital circuit. It will have voltage compatible with Xilinx FPGA Vertex products. It will have separate analog and digital grounds that are digitally isolated. The analog components are commodity pieces. The device has to have 12-bit Digital to Analog and Analog to Digital converters, with space on the die to upgrade it later to 16 bits. In addition to the standard clocks for the digital clock, it needs 1 megahertz clock for external synchronization with the analog to digital and digital to analog converters. We are looking for very rapid turnaround time and high reliability. Cannot manufacture special components without asking us in advance--we want only commodity parts. The device will include CMOS logic gates, capacitors, resistors, inductors, omp amps. The device will be organized as a chiplet. 6 by 12 array of subcircuits within the device that are connected by point-to-point connections. No internal bus. The overall size will look like a standard IC. 200 pins or 200 input-output connections. Could also be ball grid. We are looking to keep the size of the design team small. We have a PhD who designed the basic circuitry. Big plus if you have access to licenses to tools such as Cadence.
