Job Description :
Set-up and manage hosting of large-scale SaaS infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Implement Chef for Configuration Management and Automation. Developing modules for configuration management system
Hands-on migration of SaaS applications to Cloud
Working closely with developers on ops projects and for building management framework for SaaS infrastructure automation and monitoring
Define and lead proof of concepts and pilots to support the use of cloud computing
Ensuring the high availability and security of our critical systems
Assist in managing continuous build and automated test environments using Jenkins in an agile software release process
Debug and troubleshoot services issues to resolve production defects and root cause analysis
Train in-house Operations Engineers on Cloud operations
Skills & Requirements:
Must be familiar with deploying and managing hosted SaaS production and staging environments on AWS. Experience with other Could platforms such as Rackspace, Windows Azure is a plus
Experience testing and automating deployment of infrastructure with Chef and others like Puppet, cfengine etc.
Strong fundamental knowledge of System and Network administration
2+ years system administration or equivalent experience in a software development organization supporting cloud hosted staging and production systems
Strong Scripting skills in Bash, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python, EC2, Chef.
Experience with MySQL/PostgresSQL/NoSQL
Knowledge of build management and automation systems
