Customer Service Rep and Vendor Relations for Computer Accessory Retailer
We are looking for an extremely organized, highly motivated, over-achieving and very personable customer service representative to handle all customer service related issues for our online retailer of computer parts and accessories, as well as handle some vendor relations. Your responsibilities will include:
- First line and all email, online chat (and possibly phone) support for pre-sales inquiries on products including making product suggestions, providing technical expertise and guidance related to purchasing decisions, and being highly familiar with the general functionality and features of the products that we offer. You would not have to provide technical support on any product, but need to demonstrate expertise related to the products.
- Handling customer service issues related to parcel tracking information, backorder management, shipping errors, customer complaints, return authorizations and all other post-sale service issues.
- Vendor relations; use our inventory management system to submit purchase orders, communicate promotional opportunities to vendors and field offers from vendors for new products and promotions, and communicate with them if there are errors related to receipt of orders or other issues that require follow-up.
- Utilizing your product expertise to suggest new items to carry in the store or help create customized product descriptions for new and current products, as well as participate in any relevant social media such as Facebook or online forums where we are active.
This is a full-time (M-F), home based position. You must be located in the USA or primarily English speaking territory or speak PERFECT English, available during EST business hours and have an extremely fast and reliable internet connection.
It is imperative that you are available on a consistent, full-time basis and that you have impeccable grammar and spelling. Your writing will be tested. If you apply and have any incorrect spelling or grammar in your application, you will not be considered.
You should be diligent, disciplined, prompt, and hardworking to be successful working remotely. You will be working directly for the owners who expect performance and accountability.
You should be a friendly, service-oriented person. You should be able to demonstrate patience when dealing with difficult customers and strive for achieving complete customer satisfaction and loyalty.
You should possess at least a basic familiarity with the types of products we offer, including CPU coolers, case fans, cathode lighting, water cooling products, computer cases, gaming peripherals (mice, keyboards, headsets), and general DIY computer products and furthermore be willing to research them to become an expert.
